2009 Challenge
The yearly story challenge is back! By demand I must say which was rather pleasant to hear.
The premise is simple:
A May-December romance.
Rules:
It can be filled with the usual angst etc, but has to be a happy ending. The story must have a minimum ten pages or, longer one if you can manage it in the time span. Otherwise the creative format is all yours.
Judging:
Will be done by reader votes, all names suppressed on the story until the winner is announced.
Time:
The challenge begins as of now and ends on August 31st.
All entries must be mailed to me or the web mistress on my web page before that date. Julie or Webster
Winner:
Will be announced by the 30th September to allow a reasonable time for readers to read the entries and vote.
Prize:
There is a prize for first and if we have more than 5 entries a second place as well.
Get writing bards this is showcase time, especially for anyone who has thought about writing for a while and hasn’t stepped their toe in the water yet.
All stories will be hosted on my site for the first month and then, with permission of course, others may wish them to go to a wider audience and this can be arranged. i.e. the Athenaeum, Academy and Uberabode and other wonderful hosting sites.
The Dragon challenge has been thrown down now let’s see how many bardic knights want to take up the mantle.
