Leave me alone
Before I fall
Into the abysmal depth
Of my despair
I've tried running
Seems not far enough
I've tried hiding
But they all come back
I've tried forgiveness
And yet they stay
Let me go
Leave me alone
My tears are dry
Their trails long gone
My soul and heart
Fight to keep me strong
Mymind in an uproar
The nightmarish memories
Not letting go.
