The Day |
| |
A beautiful dawn greets us now,
The blues and pinks mingle in.
Sunshine breaks into a smile somehow,
Creating a caress around me is that a sin?
|
As skies change to the brightest blue,
The clouds wave interesting patterns its true.
When clouds do roll,
Let sunset fall.
|
Darkness comes to gently lull us to sleep,
Shrouding us tenderly in arms to keep.
|
That as you awake,
The dawn will break.
Once again to live you see,
For I can share my day once again with thee.
|

We see it glow within the night
The shining beacon that brings the light
It will travel far away,
To bring forth light for another day.
|
The sky is coverd with warm shades,
Enticing you to picture scenes yet made.
I watch the sun go down you see,
Often wondering why it fascinates me.
|
Yet it is easy to see why,
The beauty that encompasses the sky.
The lovely moments it reveals,
Will forever be the image that appeals.
