I am pleased to announce that my novel, Falling Into Fate is being published by Intaglio Publications and will be availible in August.

Synopsis:

Lorna Hirste is released from the Llewellyn Mental Institution after being incarcerated for fifteen years for killing a young man in a cemetery.

Jenny Price, Lorna’s lawyer who works for a legal partnership that helps the unfortunate, has spent two years working toward her release. Lorna serves her full time, but Jenny feels an affinity to help her on a personal front once she’s out of the institution.

The only fly in the ointment is Susan Stark, a journalist with the Daily Post who has been assigned to obtain an exclusive from Lorna, a person the newspaper once nicknamed the Gravekeeper.

What happens next within the backdrop of a ghost hunt, Afghanistan, and misunderstandings is a quixotic morass of events that lead eventually to a romantic conclusion none of the women expected.

2010 is upon us and we are now embarking on a new decade. On the writing front, I have some new stories in mind for the coming twelve months.

Wanted For Christmas

The sudden death of Danielle Reed's brother and sister in-law puts Danny in a new role - guardian of her two nephews and a niece. Desperate for a job of any kind she applies for a position she finds in a newspaper ad. Sparks fly for all kinds of reasons can they adjust to give the orphaned children a Christmas to remember.

Earthbound

Amanda Lawson’s life fell apart when a cement truck, killing her partner of eight years, hit the car Amanda was driving. Not only did she lose the love of her life but was critically injured leaving her with limited use of her legs. For Amanda, being alive was the cruelest thing life offered her. For two years, she lived alone downing prescription drugs to relieve pain that was both emotional and physical.

Twice she found a 1999 phone book that seemingly appeared from out of nowhere, opened to a page for spiritual healers. Believing that her lover, Gwen, was sending her a message, she dialed the number of Luminitsa whose ad read let me heal you with the light.

The visit to the spiritualist’s home brought Amanda face to face with Luminitsa and her beautiful and mysterious granddaughter, Raphaela. A thread of light beckons her to a new life if only she believes. Will Amanda abandon the comfort and oblivion her pills afford? If she does, will it be the rescue she is looking for or just another nightmare to haunt her dreams.

'A World of Change' the seventh story in the Define Destiny Series is now posted.

Catherine and Jace, are back in Julie's new installment of the Define Destiny Story Series. After fifteen years of being together trouble has found its way into their lives. Catherine's publishing company, Xianthos, is in trouble and Jace has a secret that could destroy their relationship and family.

My beta reader is working to edit the earlier Define Destiny stories. As soon as one is completed I will begin posting them starting with Haunting Shadows.
